I am doing great with me walking. I've walked 20 miles in 4 days! I have learned that its important to invest in blister free socks if you are walking or running in any amount of distance! =)
Feeling slightly discouraged because I haven't lost any more weight this week. I think my body is adjusting to my workouts. My calories have been on point and I know I'm doing all the right motions. Just have to be patient. And keep my motivation. I think I need to have my husband hide my scale because I obsess way too much over seeing numbers instead of how I feel.

My introduction
My name is Sara, i live in Washington state but I am from Idaho.
I was banded in 2010 ( Feb 11) and was so extatic about it in the beginning. Right away I lost well, and on track. By my one year I had lost 60lbs. Down to 217 from 278! I was very happy, and comfortable at that weight, and really got complacent. And comfortable! Some stressors came up, and I gained back about 7 lbs and msintained at that weight well until August of 2011...
We moved to Washington at this time and I tried HCG injections to kick start my weightloss again. Boy was that a mistake! I lost 15 lbs, then gained it all back plus another 15! It seemed like no matter what i ate, I gained after that point.
July of 2012, I had an emergency unfill because I had to have back surgery, a fusion on C6&7. Between an empty band and the steroids I was on, and the activity restrictions I sky rocketed right back up to 259 pounds. What a defeated feeling!
Well, on December 18th, I went in for a fill, and they fill you to "green zone" by how it looks under fluoro (xray) and I am pretty tight. But my band is working effectively, I'm able to get in my protein, and water. And I've started walking everyday, 3 miles. Actually, today I walked 6 miles because I walked in the morning and evening. I'm down 10 lbs since my fill.!! This is it!! this is my moment to put this band to use, and get my goals accomplished!!! :)
